THE COMPLETE FLY FISHERMAN is a bimonthly magazine in South Africa dedicated exclusively to fly fishing, an activity that is seeing unprecedented growth worldwide. Although its subject matter focusses on fly fishing the African continent, it carries features from across the world, such as the fabled destinations of the Seychelles and the other Indian Ocean Islands, Alaska, the Americas, Europe, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and beyond. Published independently, it is a glossy, full-colour, perfect-bound magazine sold by subscription in both printed and digital format, direct through fly fishing outlets and across South Africa through the newsagent system. The Complete Fly Fisherman has received worldwide acclaim for presentation, photography and editorial integrity. We strive to produce a publication that is not only exciting and visual, but provides for the thinking angler. The Complete Fly Fisherman’s vision is to enlighten people that this pursuit is just what is needed to balance ones life to be able to cope with the demands brought forth by modern living.
