About Chickens
If you keep a backyard flock, or you are about to, a Chickens magazine subscription is a trusted resource for the nutrition, health and well-being of these delightful birds. It also covers the part everyone came for: the care, collection and consumption of their eggs.
The how-to material is the backbone, timeless and practical rather than trend-driven, and there is valuable advice on housing, breeds, seasonal care and the problems that catch new keepers out. The photography is entertaining enough that non-keepers read it too.
A good gift for anyone with a new coop, a first order of chicks or ambitions towards a small flock. Order here with free shipping, a satisfaction guarantee and the freedom to cancel anytime.
The number of issues in a subscription (frequency) is set by the publisher and may change without notice.
Double issues may be published and count as two issues. Cover images are for illustration only; your
subscription starts with the next available issue, which may not be the issue shown. Cover art and titles are
the property of the publisher and are shown only to identify the product. DiscountMags.com is an
independent retailer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Chickens or its publisher.
Subscriptions set to automatically renew will renew at the end of each term until you turn renewal off in your
account. Renewal is confirmed at checkout, and we email you before each renewal with the renewal price and date.
Your first issue typically arrives in 6 to 12 weeks depending on how often the magazine publishes. If a magazine
ceases publication or becomes unavailable, we or the publisher may substitute a similar magazine or digital
edition of equal or greater value for the remaining issues, or otherwise make good on the remaining issues at
our discretion.
