    Comments about Wood:

This magazine is great for anyone that enjoys working with wood, building & creating things. Some projects are for the advanced but also includes easy ones too. I like the detail that is included in the instructions.

    Pros

    • Like material layouts.
    • Plans are quite detailed.

    Cons

      Best Uses

      • Dedicated woodworkers

      Comments about Wood:

Great mag for dedicated woodworkers. Sometimes expects you to have too high of quality equipment if you are a casual woodworker. My 'shed' is small (& junked up) so I often can't make the larger, more complex projects.

          Comments about Wood:

I have subscribed to ALL of the woodworking magazines. Wood is the best. The plans cover topics I would actually build and use. Most other magazines have overly complicated furniture or focus on wood carving and wood turning projects.

I find great tips on solving wood working problems. I read "Find Woodworking" for projects that I want to make. I have a full woodworking shop and can achieve most of the construction needed to make their projects.

            Comments about Wood:

Have been a subscriber since the mid 1980s. Has been my favorite magazine over the years. New ideas seem to be getting harder to come by. Projects seem to be geared more to ideas that wouldn't appeal to the mainstream readers. Strange about a year ago I was solicited to change my subscription to digital free of charge and with an extra month, lol. I ignored the request. With magazine getting shorter all the time when they go digital my 30 years as a subscriber will be over.
