Comments about Slam:

Guess my expectations were a little high as readers should be when reading this magazine. That appears to be who writes in to this mag, that or convicts. Seems like a ghetto thug magazine, trying to be hard instead of what I thought it was about, the sport of basketball. Print is so small you might as well use a magnifying glass and I'm not old or blind. Not printed weekly so the articles could be much more engaging and portray the main stories in the NBA. Big disappointment, no renewal for me.

Other than the section called "Trash Talk" which I edit as needed, the language and ads are suitable for elementary school. Includes poster pictures.

                Comments about Slam:

Simply put, the finest basketball magazine in the world. If it matters in American basketball at any level, high school, college, streetball, Olympic, or pro, it will get covered in this magazine. Now entering it's 21'st year, it is the standard by which any basketball magazine is compared. I have been a subscriber for 10+ years, and even now, I read it cover to cover. Their special issues are nice too, but don't come with the subscription unfortunately.
