    Comments about Bicycling:

The majority of articles written in Bicycle Magazine are geared toward expensive, high-end bikes and equipment. I believe that this approach leaves out a vast majority of readers that fall into the category of "average" bikers with "average" income levels with moderate discretionary spending.

This magazine is way too top heavy on high-end stuff and, while this may appeal to some, a more balance approach would be very appreciated by other readers of this magazine.

Product reviews don't always have to include $300 helmets, $500 cranksets, $10,000 bikes, or $150 bike lights. There are ample products way under these price ranges that are just as good, if not better in some cases.

I feel these are the major faults of Bicycle Magazine, and as a result, I cannot recommend this publication to my friends or family; the magazine is just too one-sided. To really be representative of its readership, the content must be better at reaching all strata of bicycle enthusiasts, and not just to the rarefied area of top-end (read: expensive) bike gear and bikes.
