Comments about Better Homes & Gardens:

One thing I miss are the down home recipes. I have kept a magazine from many years ago with favorite recipes from various farm families in different parts of the country. It was a wonderful magazine with many recipes (of which I have used and used)
Wish you would feature more families and their stories.

Comments about Better Homes & Gardens:

I've subscribed to BH&G for years now and have a love/hate relationship. I love the majority of the content and how it covers a vast number of topics (decor, gardening, fashion, food, etc). The products shown are often within a very reasonable price range and easily available at local stores or online. I feel I'm on the lower end of their target reader age so I can still relate but am not looking at info for a much older/younger crowd.

My main cons are as a condo owner, I struggle with the garden topics as they frequently only cover large lawn suggestions. The recipes are also not my favorite as there are now very few and they don't cover items I'm personally interested in making. I used to primarily get this magazine for the food section but probably haven't made a single recipe from an issue in over a year.

Overall, this is a solid choice of magazine if you're looking for something that covers a vast number of topics. You definitely get your money's worth.
