5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

แล้ว พระองค์ทรงเปิดพระโอษฐ์และทรงสอนพวกเขาว่า

5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

ผู้ยากจนฝ่ายวิญญาณ ก็เป็นสุข เพราะว่าอาณาจักรแห่งสวรรค์เป็นของเขา

5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

ผู้โศกเศร้าก็ เป็นสุข เพราะว่าเขาทั้งหลายจะได้รับการปลอบโยน

5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

ผู้อ่อนโยนเป็นผู้มี บุญ เพราะว่าเขาจะได้รับแผ่นดินโลกเป็นมรดก

5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

ผู้หิวกระหายความชอบธรรม ก็ เป็นสุข เพราะว่าเขาจะอิ่ม
