Twelve-year-old Caleb Fenn has always felt a little different.
He talks to God out loud.
He notices things other people don't.
And sometimes... it feels like the mountains are watching him back.
Then one evening, a strange stone appears on his porch.
It's warm.
It's marked with a symbol.
And it carries a message:
When the dark comes, hold me up.
Before Caleb can make sense of it, he's pulled into a hidden world deep within the mountains-a place called the Fold, where light is alive, shadows move, and something ancient is beginning to spread.
There, he learns the truth:
He has been chosen as the next Lantern Bearer.
But the last two didn't make it.
To restore the missing Lantern, Caleb must face three trials-each one testing his courage, his choices... and his faith.
Because in a world where darkness is growing, the light doesn't come from strength alone.
It comes from truth.
A story of light in the dark places.
Perfect for readers ages 10 and up who enjoy clean fantasy adventures with strong values, faith-centered themes, and meaningful lessons about courage, truth, and trusting God.
