MotoGPマシンそのものを一般公道で走らせるという夢を実現するにあたり、Hondaが採用した手法は、1台数億円とまでいわれるMotoGPのワークスレーサーを作るのと同じ工程で製作することでした。 その製造過程を、北は北海道の室蘭にある製鐵工場、南は九州・熊本にある最終の製造現場であるホンダ熊本製作所まで、部外者は絶対に入り込むことのできない現場で貴重なシーンの数々をカメラに収めました。 また、スペインのバルセロナサーキットで行われた正式発表会などの舞台裏にも密着。 日本のバイクファンのみならず、世界中のバイクファンが待ち望んだ夢のマシン「RC213V-S」の誕生秘話が詰まった写真集です。
