About 鬼を切る 日本の名刀
日本刀は武士が興隆した平安時代に成立しましたが、国内統治が未発達な状況の中で各地に政権の支配を望まない者や盗賊の類も多く、それらは鬼と呼ばれ人々は恐れました。そんな鬼を倒したのが武士たちであり、鬼切伝説も生まれたのです。そこで第一章では、鬼の首魁・酒呑童子を切った「童子切安綱」「鬼切安綱」をはじめ、坂上田村麻呂の「黒漆剣」、藤原秀郷の「蜈蚣切」などの名剣伝説を紹介。第二章では「乱世を彩った名刀」と銘打ち、足利家の宝刀「大典太光代」、上杉謙信の「謙信景光」、足利義輝の「三日月宗近」、織田信長の「へし切長谷部」、豊臣秀吉の「にっかり青江」、徳川家康の「ソハヤノツルキ」など名刀と物語をお届けします
