Vidivelli, which translates to “Morning star” in English, is a broadsheet newspaper with approximately 16 pages published on Thursday. Vidivelli was established in 2008. A 13 year of history is remarkable for Vidivelli. The newspaper serves to provide news and issues significant to those in the Muslim communities. Vidivelli is the one and only Muslim Newspaper in Sri Lanka with the largest circulation. The paper provides up-to-date information on the current happenings in Sri Lanka, the Middle East and the rest of the world. Vidivelli has Online and social media platforms and reaches a wider audience. The paper is primarily distributed in Western, North Western and Eastern provinces.
