Compete Magazine first rolled off the presses in the Spring of 2007 as the nation's only gay sports magazine. Recognizing the need to provide coverage of gays in sports, Compete chose to break new ground by creating an outlet to serve this growing market, a fact reflected in our tagline, "We Are Gay Sports."
