Backstory
After Barry Allen’s mother was brutally murdered, his entire life changed. His mother’s killer was never found and he dedicated his life to forensic science and solving cold cases. One day a rogue lightening bolt hit his lab and Barry gained his power of super speed. Since that moment, he has been the Flash. The once workaholic now races around the world to find criminal perpetrators. Plot
Similarly to how he was as a forensic scientist, Barry as a superhero is still obsessive about solving all the crimes he comes across. In each issue you will be able to read about how Barry uses his newfound powers to track criminals in Central City and prevent more crimes like the one that took his mother from him. Read and see if he ever learns to balance work and play so he can finally have a life outside of his work.
Powers
Due to Barry’s power of super-speed, he is also intangible and has superhuman agility. He can run at nearly the speed of light. This superhuman velocity allows him to run up buildings, move so swiftly that he can pass through walls and other solid objects, and even cause a sonic boom with just a snap of his fingers.
