    Comments about Extreme How-To:

This compares well with other home skill magazines. I've subscribed to, in the past, Fine Homebuilding and Fine Wordworking (those are too expensive for me now!), also Family Handyman (very similar, also quality), and Popular Science (occasionally overlaps on content. I plan to keep my subscription active for many years because of the great price.

Way to many ads. Horrible layout. Confusing, poorly written. If you want a magazine full of ads, get this! Do not recommend.

The articles don't seem to go anywhere, I like family handyman with its ideas and how to sections but expected more ideas out of extreme how to

I an a long-time Family Handyman, and I was hoping for more material of that calibre. This utterly fails to provide that. There *are* some interesting adverts that I haven't seen elsewhere, but the articles are pretty worthless.

The magazine does seem to have much more advanced articles than most DIY magazines out there. Unfortunately 97% of the magazine contains ads. I almost passed up the 3 page article trying to skip through all the ads.

Articles are interspersed with so many ads, it reads like the back section of a normal magazine. Look elsewhere for content.
